Snow Day Crafting
We live in the area affected by "Snow Storm Jonas" (or the "Blizzard of '16" or "Snowzilla", whichever you prefer). Fortunately we only got a couple of inches of the white stuff and it is mostly gone now. I send out lots of love and warm wishes to those who measure their snowfall in feet this time around!
For me one of the best things about a snow day is the extra time to do things that I ordinarily do not have time to do. That means getting in a nap or two, but also I have time to spend in my craft room. I did that today, putting in some time preparing for another Celebration Season (a round of birthdays, holidays and other good times). Unfortunately, I can't show you some of my projects right now because that would spoil some surprises, but I can share this banner with you and with the talented crafters over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is "Snow" and I couldn't think of better timing or a better project!
Wouldn't this be perfect for a child's Frozen party?!?
I promise that I have many interesting projects and recipes to share over the next few weeks with birthdays and other special days to come! In the meantime, hop on over to Fantabulous Cricut Challenge to see what those talented crafters are up to!
Stay safe and warm! Thanks for stopping by today!

I really didn't have to get very creative with this pennant. I simply used the Pretty Pennants cartridge with some blue and white sparkly paper. I really love how intricate the cuts get with this cartridge. You just have to make sure that your blade is new and your mat is sticky enough to get through all of the cuts. This pennant is shown on my "tablecloth" from my "Snow Day Tablescape".

Your pennant is absolutely beautiful! Glad you were able to use the snow theme as inspiration instead of letting it get you down! Thanks so much for joining us for the FCCB challenge this week! Hugs, DT Karla
