Gardenias and Glitter (We're Back!)

My apologies for not posting in a looooong time!  I believe that I mentioned before that I had a huge project for work. I was chained to my computer 24/7 for weeks and then got behind with the rest of my work.  Ugggh!  But that's all over now and I am back and ready to celebrate life's little joys!

When I finally looked up from my computer this week I discovered that my gardenias had finally bloomed!

My entire yard (and the whole cul-de-sac, in fact) smells wonderful!

Speaking of gardenias, I recently discovered a new type that I had never seen before.

This is called a Jubilation Gardenia. It smells delicious, just like Honey-suckle! Apparently it blooms in spring and then later in the summer.  I found this one at Home Depot.

The Magnolias are in bloom too!  This one is in my parents' yard.

Of course, I haven't forgot the glitter!

I found this cute sign in the Target Dollar Bin (which is really a Five Dollar bin!) a few weeks ago.

You know me- I just couldn't leave it "naked" like this!  There had to be glitter!

So I painted it.

And glittered it!  Wa La! A sparkly decoration just in time to decorate for the Fourth of July!

(Side note- I was in Target this morning- they are starting to put out Back to School stuff already!  The last day of school here was yesterday!)

Anyway, I promise I will have more fun things to share with you over the coming weeks- summer is such a wonderful season with so many things to celebrate!

Thanks for stopping by today!

~Cynthia
