Back to School Crafts

We Southern girls will monogram anything and if we can do it in our school colors, then that is all the better!  This year I decided to personalize some supplies for family members who are going back to school using their initials and school letters in school spirit colors.

One thing you never have enough of in college is storage.  Whether it is for school supplies, bathroom necessities or kitchen equipment, there is never enough space in a college dorm or apartment to organize everything that a girl needs.  This little basket has my daughter's initials on one side and her school letters on the other.  Her school colors are blue and yellow.

When you start off at a new school you have to have to stock up on stuff in your school colors. My cousin is just starting middle school this year.   This little cup has her initial on one side and her school letters on the other.  The colors are blue and silver. You can't really see the blue and silver polka dots on the cup, but they are there!

Go Jaguars!

Of course, every parent worries about school germs but I may have gone a little overboard when I monogrammed the hand sanitizer!

This is a cute little sandwich box I personalized a couple of years ago.  Perfect for a school bus cookie on the first day of school!

I used my Cricut to cut out the letters and the polka dots (I love polka dots- can you tell?), but you do not have to.  I found these letters at Michaels.

They have lots of different colors and styles.  Just make sure that you get vinyl stickers so they can be washed (gently hand-washed!).  I think that this would be a great craft to get the kids involved in.  Maybe get them excited to go back to school?

I wish all the students (and teachers!) the best as they start a new school year!

I am joining up with the Fantabulous Cricut Blog and their Back to School Challenge.  Be sure to click on that site and see what fun things the creative crafters on that blog have made.

Thanks for stopping by today!
