Happy Birthday, USA!
If you know me at all, you know that I love to celebrate everything! Especially this year, I have really wanted to observe every occasion- big or small and the Fourth of July is always one of my favorites. It will be a smaller celebration this year, fewer people and no fireworks presented in our area, but that is no reason not to decorate and have a fabulous meal with my Quarantine Crew!
This is our first year in our new home and I love to eat on the sun porch (see Father's Day/Summer Brunch here)!
The inspiration for this tablescape comes from this Gazebo Luminary made with my Cricut from a Dreaming Tree cut. I placed it on a small cake stand for some elevation.
The roof comes off so you can put a candle in. See how pretty the light is coming through the stars in the roof? This is going to be amazing when it gets dark!
Once I made this gazebo I knew that I wanted to go with an old fashioned Fourth of July Celebration theme.
These Adirondack inspired chairs were made with an Svgcuts and I thought they would fit right in. They are actually box cards which fold up to place in an envelope. (It looks like I need to smooth the tablecloth. There is nothing like looking through the lens of a camera to see what everything truly looks like!)
These are my everyday plates with bowls that I have used for years. I believe that the bowls came from Target. I really wanted to add some red salad plates this year and update my everyday plates, but I am still staying away from the stores as much as possible.
I purchased these red utensils a year ago from Amazon. The napkins are repurposed handkerchiefs with star-shaped napkin ring from Micheal's. I just love those little tin stars- they are really Americana.
My favorite part has got to be this gazebo!
Now on to plan the menu!
