Working on Fall...

The last time I posted (way too long ago!) I was holding on to summer.  I always do. But I am blessed to live in a part of the country where flowers bloom and it is "outdoor weather" most of the year. I can wear my beloved flip flops way into October (and beyond some years!) so the transition is not as hard as it would be if I lived in other areas.  (I am still missing the pool- I am counting the days until it is pool season again!)

Fall is a close second to my favorite season.  I am just discovering the beauty of my back yard during this season and it is amazing.  Have you ever seen dogwoods in the fall?  Just beautiful!

So, while school started almost two months ago(!), the leaves are turning and it is too cold to get in the pool (for me anyway!),  I am finally getting into fall.  But most importantly, Halloween! And Halloween crafting!

My Cricut has been working overtime on so many projects!  When I get a chance I will show you some more of them, but I just wanted to hop on and show you this super cute witch's hat that I made from a cut from SVGCuts' Haunted Forest.

The top of the cap comes off and it is a little candy box!  Super cute!  I have made several of these for Halloween treats for special people in my life.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I desperately need to replace my light box.  If you have a suggestion for a good one, please let me know in the comments.

I am sharing this project with the creative crafters over at Bitten by the Bug 2.  Hop on over to see what the neat Halloween themed crafts have been posted there.

I hope that you are enjoying these beautiful days of fall and anticipating a fun Halloween!

Thanks for stopping by!
