Valentine Wrap Up
I have been so fortunate to be able to spend time in my craft room over the past couple of weeks, getting ready for Valentine's Day. My last post, which you can see here, shows the super fun Valentine pick-up truck decoration that I made for my Mom, but my crafting didn't end there (neither did the mess in my craft room!).
I am blessed to have a number of amazing ladies in my family who have known me for my entire life and are a true gift to me and my husband and children. I always want to make sure that they get a special card for every occasion that I can think of. I sent a version of this Valentine's Day card from SVGCuts to each of them, each in a slightly different color palette. The super cute candy hearts paper is from Miss Kate Cuttables, but some of the solid color paper is actually from the Dollar Store. I was surprised at the quality, especially as there are three sheets in the package.
One of our family friends had a very bad case of COVID. He still has a very long road to recovery ahead of him and I like to send little happy messages when I can. It is difficult to find a masculine Valentine card for someone who is not your child or significant other, so you know I have to break out the Cricut and make one! I simply used the Design Space shapes to splice a heart out of a card and went from there. I hope it brightened his day!
Like last week's post I will be linking to Bitten by the Bug. Stop by and see what the other creative crafters have made for their Valentines in their Valentines Day or Hearts challenge!
On to St. Patrick's Day!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Wonderful Valentines. Great to find a bargain at Dollar Store paper that works well quality-wise. Masculine plaid look is a nice way to cheer up a guy.
