Hurricane and Halloween

It's been a busy week here at Gardenias and Glitter.  We have been under the threat of a hurricane for most of the week and dealing with a Nor'easter as well. There is a lot of work that goes into preparing for a hurricane.  Hopefully next season I will remember to put together my hurricane kit before we have a pending storm.  Thankfully the hurricane turned east away from us and we have been promised sunshine next week.

I finally got tired of dealing with the messy weather and decided to spend a little time in my craft room, working on some Halloween projects. Just in time for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge (Shape-up), I created a couple of Halloween cards using my "Pretty Pennants" cartridge.

The spiders are decorative buttons that I cut the back off of.

A little peek into the inside message that I stamped.

And because I didn't want to leave my craft room and deal with more rain I began working on a "frame" for a future tablescape post.

The frame was created using the "Happy Hauntings" cartridge.

And just in case you are not in a hurricane area and you don't know what to put in a hurricane kit, here you go-

Just kidding (sort of!)

Thanks for stopping by!
