Graduation Celebration- All Week!

Over the past week we have been celebrating my daughter's graduation from college. Saturday we had her family party and of course I had to get crafting! The first project I wan to share with you corresponds to the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog Challenge of the Week- Graduation!

As many of you know, my daughter graduated from Longwood University.  Their colors are blue, white and grey.  I used the Extreme Fonts-Little League Cartridge for the letters and numbers and the bottom layer only of a graduation cap from Cricut design space.  The cups came from the Dollar Store in the July Fourth section. The guests drank from the cups and were able to take them home as "souvenirs" of the occasion.  No Cricut- no problem! Try using the adhesive letters you find in the scrapbooking section of your favorite craft store. Just make sure that they are vinyl stickers and not paper! That makes them water-proof so that you can wash the cups.

A little tip for layering adhesive vinyl.  It might seem obvious to you, but I had to learn by trial and error- layer the letters BEFORE applying to the surface of the cup or whatever you are decorating!  It is so much easier!

If you are in a graduation frame of mind, hop on over to the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog to show off your project and/or to see what the other "fantabulous" crafters are up too!

Challenge #302-Graduation
Make a project about any kind of Graduation!

This Weeks Sponsor:

Dreaming Tree SVG's

The winner will receive a $20 Gift Certificate!

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!

The great thing about having a school with three colors- if you run out of one color vinyl, you can finish the project with another!

Stop by later in the week- we will be sharing more graduation celebration ideas with you. Thank you for stopping by today!
