Howdy!
Lately I have really enjoyed working on 3d projects using my Cricut. There are so many ideas in Design Space and on other sites for decorating, gifts, cards and even clothing. A couple of week's ago I needed a centerpiece for a birthday party and turned to my Cricut. I found inspiration from one of the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Sponsors, svgcuts.com.
The cowboy hat is from svgcuts. I love their site for really cute 3d cuts and great tutorial videos for assembly.
Once I found the hat, I couldn't let the theme end there. I found this cute tag in Design Space. It was in the "Yee Haw" cartridge.
Can't you just see this cowboy theme carried out in a child's birthday party? How fun!
It turns out that the hat and tag fits in with this week's Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog them of "Ribbons and Bows"!

Challenge #324-Ribbons and Bows

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.
If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!
We would love to see your creative project using ribbons, bows or twine! Or check out the amazing projects that the crafters have posted this week!
I am so looking forward to the week's ahead- not only is the semester ending (yes- teachers get excited about that too!) but we have "May the Fourth", Cinco De Mayo, The Kentucky Derby, the Royal Wedding and so many other things to celebrate in the weeks and months ahead! I hope that you will come back soon to see what we are up to!
Thanks for stopping by today!
