Celebrating the Royal Wedding!
Like a few million other people, I will probably wake up early for the Royal Wedding on Saturday. I love to watch weddings, royal or not. They are such a happy hopeful celebration of life. (Of course there are also beautiful dresses and flowers and cake!) Of course, if you know me, you know that I also have to do some crafting and some baking in preparation for any such event.
In fact, I combined the two! A wedding white frosting cupcake in a glittery silver tiara holder! I made this on my Cricut (of course!)
With rhinestones!
And for those not ready to commit to a full tiara, maybe just a modest little crown.
And what is a celebration without a favor box to put your goodies in?
This cut came from Dreaming Tree. It is one of their free cuts! I replaced the shield that is supposed to be on the front and made a British flag for the occasion. It is cut from wedding white cardstock. And it had to have rhinestones, too!
I can see this cut used for so many cute little Princess parties. Being a Southern girl, I can see a glittery monogram on the front of each little box under the tiara, but the possibilities are endless!
Well, I should probably go polish my tiara and get to bed early if I am going to wake up so early to catch all of the wedding events!
I wish Harry and Meghan a long life of love and happiness!
Thank you for stopping by today!
