All You Need is Love...... (Or Let the Celebrations Begin!)
If you have been following me for a while you know that there are a lot of family weddings ain the future. In 2019 both of my daughters and my brother became engaged. Of course, all preparations and parties were postponed over the last year or so, but it is now time to get together and celebrate!
Last week my oldest daughter/ Maid of Honor for her sister hosted a bridal shower at my house. As she lives out-of-town and is quite busy in her own right, she asked for some assistance with some decor items and the favors. So you know that I had to get out my Cricut!
This first item I would like to share is the "favor" that we made for the guests to take home. She stressed about the best thing to send home with the guests, but ended up with this cute idea.
Was there ever a more true statement? What more can you ask for?
But cupcakes have to be carried in a special container to get them safely to their destination. That's where the Cricut comes in.
I found this super easy, super cute cupcake box on SVGcuts.com. You know how I love that site for my Cricut cuts! I am sure that I will be getting a lot of use out of this cut in the future. It is such an easy design and makes for a cute presentation!
The sign is a painted canvas board that I got from the Dollar Tree. I use them all the time as well! I painted the Canvas and had a little bit of difficulty with the vinyl that came from the Dollar Spot in Target last year. Again, if this was a keepsake, I would be more particular about the materials I used.
LOL You saved the recycle part for the end. I love these boxes and recycling the mat covers is such a great idea. I've been doing the same thing with the face shields I'm seeing on clearance everywhere now. Cut them down for shaker cards, etc. Thanks for joining the challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2 Cricut challenge site. Dorlene DT BBTB2
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea- I never thought about using face shields! Thanks for sharing!
DeleteThe Cricut is definitely the best tool for wedding needs. Your boxes are so pretty and the gold really makes them special. I love the sign also. Such a cute idea. Thanks for joining us at BBTB2.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Caroline. I am quickly finding out how valuable the Cricut can be with wedding preparation!
DeleteAbsolutely great idea for recycling! I save clear parts from packaging all the time, for shakers, "glass" in vehicles, and sometimes if it is shaped (dips, circles in acetate) I will use it for ink and paint blending. We really appreciate your entry at Bitten the the Bug 2. These are great and I hope everyone loved their cupcakes!!
