Happy Halloween Eve!
Halloween is almost here! I can't wait to see all of the little ghosts and goblins, witches and wizards on Saturday night!
In the meantime, I have been enjoying a little bit of time in my craft room brewing up more Halloween fun. When the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog announced that their latest challenge is "Fright Night", I knew that I had the perfect craft to share. This is the perfect accessory for the fashionable witch to wear on her big night. The hat itself is a simple cone shaped from scrapbook paper and attached to a circle cut from Cricut Essentials. The flowers are from one of my very favorite cartridges- Flower Shoppe. Add some ribbon and some "rhinestone" bling and this witch is ready for a night on the town!
While I was in my craft room I came across this card that I made when I first got my Cricut. It is made with the Halloween Hauntings Cartridge and some decorative buttons. You may remember seeing more of those buttons in my Hurricanes and Halloween post. I purchased two or three bags of them thinking I would use them for a big project and I changed my mind. I will be crafting with those buttons every Halloween for many years to come!
Besides crafting, I spent some time in the kitchen (don't worry, I will catch up on grading those papers on Sunday!) working on my Halloween baking. Did you know that the 28th was National Chocolate Day? Well, I did not until it was too late to do anything about it. So this year's baked goods will all be chocolate. Please come back on Saturday to see what goodies I brew up for this year's ghosts and goblins!
Thanks for stopping by today!
