I hope that everyone had a Happy Mother's Day and got to spend a little time with their Mom, Like- a- Mom, Grandmom, or whoever that special someone is in their life!
Hard to believe, but we are half-way through May already! And so much more to celebrate! Coming up soon we have the Preakness, graduations, more birthdays and I think I heard something about a wedding over in London, or something.....
This week I want to share with you the centerpiece I made for our little Kentucky Derby party last week. (Everyone must have the perfect Derby hat!) It is also perfect for Mother's Day (I do love a double-duty craft!). If you have been following me on the blog or on instagram for a little while you know that I have become obsessed with 3D projects.
The cut is from this week's Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog sponsor, Dreaming Tree. I love their cuts! Easy and fun, they have excellent "How-To" videos to help put everything together. You should see the flowers that come with this cut- absolutely beautiful!
For our Derby party, I of course had to use roses. These are from the Cricut cartridge "Flower Shoppe".
This cut from Dreaming Tree has an extra hidden bonus:
It also serves as a box!
How cool is that!!!
It also fits perfectly within this week's Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog's challenge, "Make a 3D/Dimensional Project"!
Challenge #326-Make a 3D/Dimensional Project
Make a project that isn't flat!
The winner will receive a $10 Gift Certificate!
To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.
If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!
I would love to see your 3D Project! Or, just stop by and see what the fantabulous crafters have shared this week!
Thanks for stopping by today!
~Cynthia
